Revamp “Know Your Rights Nights” to prepare students for situations with high stakes. For example, scenarios where students encounter MSUPD or Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in high risk situations.
Encourage professors to add mental health concerns as an excused absence on their syllabi.
Work with CAPS to shorten appointment waiting times for students and create awareness for students to understand that they can access multicultural, multilingual and LGBTQ+ counselors if they so desire.
Work to ensure that the constantly empty condom cups in front of RA doors are filled so as to make safe sex more affordable to students.
Providing RAs with first aid kits that contain basic over the counter medication like painkillers for menstrual cramps and study headaches.
Working with the students and faculty of the Psychology Department to help facilitate workshops that empower students with social skills so that they can find comfort in connecting to other students and the MSU community.
Create a D2L classroom where students can access mental health awareness resources and suicide prevention helplines.
Advocate for adequate feedback provision avenues for dining hall meals so that students of all backgrounds and dietary restrictions can be accomodated, and their health guaranteed.
