ASMSU - Internal Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging





Offer equal and fair opportunities for members of all ASMSU departments to partake in student government opportunities and conferences in and out of the state. No ASMSU department should ever feel like their fight for the student body is less important than another.





Amplify Ideological Diversity Within ASMSU GA Meetings - Constitutionalize a “dissenting opinion” process so that representatives who voted in the minority can collaborate on a statement that will accompany the majority statement.






Expand Elect her to include disadvantaged groups. Either add a session or extend an extra day for the conference.






Make the Chief Diversity Equity and Inclusion officer a permanent ex-officio position at the GA. They can voice their suggestions but may not vote.
